Plain terms: what Indexly collects, why, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
Indexly is a Chrome extension, built by Sarvodaya Infotech Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), that automates checking and requesting indexing for URLs inside Google Search Console. This policy explains what data the extension handles when you use it, and applies to the Indexly Chrome extension and this website.
We collect only what Indexly needs to do its job, and we don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone outside of providing the service itself.
To use Indexly, you sign in with a Sarvodaya Infotech account. This creates a login session used to authenticate your requests to our backend — we store your login identifier and the account details you provide when registering.
When you run an indexing job, Indexly processes:
Indexly doesn't read your Google account password (you're already logged into Search Console in your browser — we never see or ask for your Google credentials), doesn't access Gmail, Drive, or any other Google service, and doesn't collect browsing history outside of the Search Console pages and the site URLs you explicitly ask it to check.
We use the data above strictly to operate Indexly's core function: checking index status, requesting indexing, generating your reports, and letting you pick up a previous run's history. We don't use it to build advertising profiles, and we don't sell or rent it to third parties.
Your run data (URLs, statuses, summaries, and reports) is sent to Sarvodaya Infotech's own backend over an encrypted connection, so it can be saved to your account and shown back to you later. It is not shared with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-broker service.
When you use the Auto-Crawl or Sitemap features, Indexly fetches pages directly from the domain you specify — this is a direct request from your browser to your own site (or a site you've chosen to check), not routed through us.
The Chrome Web Store listing shows exactly which permissions Indexly requests. Here's why each one is needed:
We keep your account and run history for as long as your account is active, so you can review past reports. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us using the details below and we'll remove it, other than what we're required to retain for legal or security reasons.
Data sent to our backend travels over HTTPS. Access to stored account and run data is restricted to what's needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the same care we'd want for our own.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you at any time by contacting us. You can also stop using Indexly and revoke its permissions from Chrome's extension settings at any point.
Indexly is a professional SEO/webmaster tool and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Indexly after a change means you accept the updated policy.
